Nudist B&B - Merida Yucatan Mexico - Opening Press Release

Merida, Yucatan, Mexico – 14th February 2014 - Eight Bells Hospitality SA de CV announces the grand opening of Merida’s newest boutique bed and breakfast, Casa Nadz-Kaan. The intimate bed and breakfast offers only two en suite bedrooms to ensure a most personal and pampered environment.  Merida, capital of the Yucatan State, is rich with Mayan history and culture. This vibrant city boasts numerous theatres, museums, restaurants, and parks. One of the safest cities in Mexico, Merida has the feel of old world Europe, yet offers many modern luxuries. The residents of Merida take pride in their culture and social customs.  Every day of the week you will find showcases in dance, music, and performance available in the parks or theatre auditoriums, most are presented free of charge.

Casa Nadz-Kaan will easily present their clients the best Merida can offer. Opening late March, it will provide a central location for exploring Merida’s historic center, as well as offering concierge services for touring the Yucatan and northern beaches.  Mayan ruins such as Chichen Itza and Uxmal are easily toured in a day from Merida, as is coastal Celestun, home of the Bioshpere Reserve that houses pink flamingo colonies.  The nearby beach towns of Progresso and Chicxulub offer emerald waters and white sands.

“We feel that Merida is the perfect location for visitors from around the world to explore the rich history Mexico has to offer,” says Alan Marsden, President of Eight Bells Hospitality.  “We will ensure that time spent at Casa Nadz-Kaan will be memorable in itself, and complement the enjoyment of the many unique experiences of the Yucatan.  As officers aboard Cunard passenger ships, we were kept to the highest standards of that era, and hope to bring that level of service to our new endeavors.”

What makes Casa Nadz-Kaan very special is that it will cater to both the conventional as well as the clothing-optional vacationer in offering special weeks available for those wishing to experience the naturist lifestyle while exploring Merida’s riches.  “The clothing optional market is in its infancy in Mexico, so few choices exist presently for those discerning visitors to the region,” states Marsden.  “We will not book the conventional traveler at the same time we would the naturist vacationer, but welcome both equally.”

Each room features a deluxe queen-sized bed with premium linens, fluffy pillows and daily room service, en suite bathroom, with rain shower and vanity, stocked with top quality towels, robes, toiletries, hair dryer and other accessories for convenience and pampered enjoyment.  In-room, all-channel satellite TV, BluRay/DVD player, clock/radio with iPod dock and broadband wireless internet.  Includes gourmet, cooked-to-order breakfast (7.30am-9.30am) and “happy hour” drinks and snacks (5pm-6pm) daily.  Concierge services will be available offering tours, taxi, restaurant, or airline confirmations.  “Any request our guests may have, we will try to fulfill”, states Marsden.

Eight Bells Hospitality SA de CV is new to the Mexican tourism trade though the owners and operators have had years of experience in the cruise line industry in hotel management and communication. The charm, elegance, and service that were once offered aboard the great ocean liners will be the keystone philosophy of any Eight Bells Hospitality endeavor with Casa Nadz-Kaan their flagship in Mexico.
